A cat man is a man who keeps or is notably fond of cats—the male counterpart to a cat lady, though without the same spinster connotations: He's a total cat man; he has three tabbies.
The term can also mean a man who works with big cats at a zoo or circus, or a burglar who enters buildings by climbing.
