blobbiness
Lacking defined edges
Blobbiness is the quality of being blob-like—shapeless, amorphous, or lacking defined edges.
The word describes things that bulge, spread, or refuse to hold a crisp form: The blobbiness of the dough meant it needed more flour.
It can characterize visual design, physical texture, or anything that seems soft and undefined where structure might be expected.
