beer snob
Craft brew purist
A beer snob is someone who considers their taste in beer superior and looks down on mass-produced or mainstream brands.
They typically favor craft beers, microbrews, or imports, and make a point of expressing disdain for popular lagers: He's such a beer snob he won't even touch a Bud Light.
The term is often self-applied with ironic pride.
