barracking

Hostile audience interruption

Barracking is loud heckling or jeering, especially at sporting events.

In British and Australian usage, to barrack means to shout criticism or mockery at players or performers: The crowd's barracking rattled the visiting team.

In Australian English, barracking can also mean cheering enthusiastically for a team—the opposite sense: Who are you barracking for?
