backdated
Given earlier timestamp
Backdated describes something, typically a document or agreement, that has been assigned an earlier date than when it was actually created or signed.
The practice may be legitimate—such as making an insurance policy effective from a prior date—or fraudulent, as when backdating stock options to secure a more favorable price.
The contract was backdated to the first of the month.
As a verb, to backdate is to apply such a date.
