author bios
Creator background blurbs
Author bios are brief biographical descriptions that accompany published work, typically appearing at the end of articles, on book jackets, or in conference programs.
They summarize credentials, achievements, and sometimes personal details relevant to the work: Her author bio mentions two decades of field research.
The plural reflects that writers often maintain several versions of different lengths for different contexts.
