astral form
Soul's traveling shape
An astral form is the spiritual or ethereal body believed to separate from the physical body during out-of-body experiences, dreams, or astral projection.
In occult and esoteric traditions, this subtle double can travel independently through an astral plane: She claimed her astral form visited distant places while she slept.
The concept appears frequently in fantasy fiction and video games, where characters project astral forms to scout locations or communicate across distances.
