apolitical
Outside the fray
Apolitical means not interested in or concerned with politics: He remained stubbornly apolitical throughout the election season.
It can also describe something deliberately kept separate from political considerations: The organization insists it is apolitical.
The term sometimes carries skepticism—the notion that claiming to be apolitical is itself a political stance.
