all-ages shows
Unrestricted live events
All-ages shows are concerts or performances open to attendees of any age, including minors.
The term distinguishes events at venues that don't serve alcohol or that separate drinking areas from the main floor.
All-ages shows matter in punk, hardcore, and other scenes where young fans would otherwise be excluded: I saw my first shows at all-ages venues before I turned eighteen.
