adequacies
States of sufficiency
Adequacies is the plural of adequacy—instances or areas of being sufficient or good enough.
The word appears most often in its negative form: The report highlighted several inadequacies in the system.
When used positively, it tends toward understatement, acknowledging bare sufficiency rather than excellence: We assessed the adequacies of the current infrastructure.
