added time
Extra match duration
Added time is the extra minutes tacked onto the end of a soccer half to compensate for stoppages during play—injuries, substitutions, time-wasting, and the like.
Also called stoppage time or injury time, it's announced by the fourth official and displayed on an electronic board.
The referee has discretion over exactly how much to add and when to blow the final whistle.
They scored the winner in added time.
