W-2s
Employer wage statements
W-2s are the tax forms U.S. employers must provide to employees annually, documenting wages paid and taxes withheld.
The form reports income to both the employee and the IRS: I need my W-2s before I can file my taxes.
The plural typically refers to forms from multiple employers or multiple tax years.
