UEFA Cup
Continental club competition
The UEFA Cup was a European football club competition organized by UEFA from 1971 to 2009, when it was rebranded as the UEFA Europa League.
It ranked below the Champions League in prestige, featuring clubs that had finished well in domestic leagues but not at the top: They won the UEFA Cup twice in the 1980s.
