The Ladykillers
A 1955 British black comedy film in which a gang of criminals, posing as musicians, rent rooms from an elderly woman while plotting a heist.
The title plays on the idiom "ladykiller" (a charming seducer) while literally describing men who plan to kill a lady.
The film was remade by the Coen Brothers in 2004.
