The Irishman

*The Irishman* is a 2019 film directed by Martin Scorsese, chronicling the life of Frank Sheeran, a truck driver turned hitman who claimed involvement in the disappearance of Teamsters leader Jimmy Hoffa.

The film spans decades, using digital de-aging technology to show its actors—Robert De Niro, Al Pacino, Joe Pesci—at various ages.

At three and a half hours, it became a landmark Netflix release and a meditation on aging, loyalty, and mortality in the crime genre.
