Test cricket
Five-day international match
Test cricket is the longest and oldest format of international cricket, played between national teams over five days.
Unlike limited-overs formats, Test matches have no restriction on the number of deliveries, with each team batting twice.
The format is considered the sport's highest standard, testing players' endurance, technique, and concentration: Australia and England compete for the Ashes in Test cricket.
