Scandinavian languages

Swedish, Danish, Norwegian

The Scandinavian languages are a group of closely related Germanic languages spoken in Scandinavia: Danish, Norwegian, and Swedish.

Sometimes Icelandic and Faroese are included, though these are typically called Nordic languages.

The Scandinavian languages share enough vocabulary and grammar that speakers can often understand each other, especially in writing: She speaks Swedish but can follow Danish television.
