Savannah cat
Spotted domestic hybrid
A Savannah cat is a domestic cat breed created by crossing a serval—a wild African cat—with a domestic cat.
Savannahs are tall, lean, and spotted, resembling their wild ancestor but bred for domesticity.
They're known for being unusually active, loyal, and dog-like in temperament.
Early-generation Savannahs (F1, F2) retain more wild characteristics and face legal restrictions in some jurisdictions.
