Queer as Folk

Gay community series

Queer as Folk is a television drama series depicting the lives of gay men and their social circles.

The original British version (1999) and American adaptation (2000-2005) were groundbreaking for their frank portrayal of gay sexuality and relationships.

The title comes from a Northern English expression meaning "there's nowt so queer as folk"—nothing is as strange as people.
