Pinochle
Forty-eight card game
Pinochle is a trick-taking card game typically played with a 48-card deck containing two copies of cards nine through ace.
Players earn points both through melding (displaying certain card combinations) and through taking tricks containing high-value cards.
The game has two-player and four-player partnership versions: We play pinochle every Tuesday night.
