Otto Frank
Otto Frank was the father of Anne Frank, the Jewish girl whose diary became one of the most widely read accounts of life under Nazi persecution.
The sole member of his immediate family to survive the Holocaust, he arranged the publication of his daughter's diary in 1947.
He devoted his remaining years to sharing Anne's writings and promoting tolerance.
