Martha Kent

Martha Kent is a fictional character in the DC Comics universe, the adoptive mother of Superman.

Along with her husband Jonathan Kent, she raised the infant Kal-El after his spacecraft landed on their Kansas farm, naming him Clark and instilling the moral values that would define his heroism.

She represents the nurturing, small-town American influence that grounds Superman's character despite his alien origins.
