Jim Kelly

Jim Kelly was an American martial artist and actor who rose to prominence in 1970s blaxploitation and kung fu films, most notably appearing alongside Bruce Lee in *Enter the Dragon* (1973).

A skilled karate champion before entering Hollywood, Kelly brought authentic fighting ability to his roles and became one of the first African American martial arts film stars.

His signature style—combining athleticism with a cool, confident screen presence—made him a cult figure in action cinema.
