Invisible Woman

Invisible Woman is a Marvel Comics superhero, a founding member of the Fantastic Four.

Susan Storm gained the power to render herself and other objects invisible, and to project powerful force fields.

She evolved from the team's damsel-in-distress to its most powerful member.

The term also describes women overlooked by society—particularly middle-aged and older women who feel they've become socially invisible: After fifty, I became the invisible woman at work.
