Gomez Addams
Gomez Addams is the patriarch of the Addams Family, a fictional household of wealthy, macabre eccentrics created by cartoonist Charles Addams.
He is passionate, theatrical, and devoted to his wife Morticia—swooning when she speaks French.
The character represents gleeful embrace of the morbid: He greeted disaster with the enthusiasm of a Gomez Addams.
The name evokes cheerful ghoulishness or melodramatic romantic devotion.
