Fourdrinier machine
Continuous paper producer
A Fourdrinier machine is industrial equipment for manufacturing paper in continuous rolls.
Named for the English brothers who financed its development, it forms paper by depositing wood pulp onto a moving wire mesh belt, where water drains away and the fibers mat together.
The machine then presses and dries the sheet.
Most modern paper production uses this basic design or variations of it.

- slurrySemifluid mixture of solids

- recycled paperFiber reprocessed into sheets
