Donna Tartt

Donna Tartt is an American novelist known for densely plotted literary fiction with long gaps between publications.

Her three novels—*The Secret History* (1992), *The Little Friend* (2002), and *The Goldfinch* (2013, Pulitzer Prize)—share themes of obsession, moral complexity, and the weight of the past.

Her deliberate pace and classical style have made her a cult figure among serious readers.
