A Cubano sandwich is a pressed sandwich of roast pork, ham, Swiss cheese, pickles, and mustard on Cuban bread.
The bread is buttered and the sandwich grilled flat in a press until the cheese melts and the exterior crisps.
It originated among Cuban immigrant communities in Florida: We grabbed Cubanos from the food truck.
