Bologna sausage

Pink lunch meat

Bologna sausage is a large, mild-flavored sausage of finely ground pork, beef, or a mixture, typically sold presliced for sandwiches.

The American version derives from Italian mortadella, originally from the city of Bologna.

In the U.S., it's usually just called bologna, pronounced buh-LOH-nee: a bologna sandwich, fried bologna.
