Barney Stinson

Barney Stinson is a fictional character from the television sitcom *How I Met Your Mother* (2005–2014), played by Neil Patrick Harris.

Known for his catchphrases like legendary and suit up, elaborate schemes to seduce women, and a self-authored "Bro Code," the character became a cultural touchstone for exaggerated male bravado and pickup artistry—often referenced ironically: He's pulling a Barney Stinson.
