BAC test
Roadside alcohol screening
A BAC test measures blood alcohol concentration—the percentage of alcohol in a person's bloodstream.
Law enforcement uses BAC tests to determine intoxication, typically through breathalyzers or blood draws.
In most U.S. states, a BAC of 0.08% or higher constitutes legal impairment for driving: She failed the BAC test and was arrested for DUI.
