Antonio Vivaldi
Antonio Vivaldi was an Italian Baroque composer and virtuoso violinist, best known for *The Four Seasons*, a set of violin concertos that remain among the most performed works in classical music.
A Catholic priest nicknamed "the Red Priest" for his hair color, he composed hundreds of concertos, operas, and sacred works.
His influence on Baroque instrumental music was vast, though his reputation faded after his death and wasn't fully revived until the twentieth century.
