unroused
Not yet awakened
Not awakened or stirred into action.
Someone unroused remains in their previous state—asleep, calm, or indifferent—despite circumstances that might normally provoke a response: He lay unroused despite the commotion outside.
The word applies to emotions as well: passions unroused, suspicions unroused.
