underscan
Image border cropping
Underscan is a display setting where the image doesn't fill the entire screen, leaving a black border around the edges.
It's the opposite of overscan, which extends the image beyond visible boundaries.
Underscan ensures nothing is cropped at the edges but may leave unused screen space: I enabled underscan to see the full desktop on my TV.
