two-way mirrors
Interrogation room fixtures
A two-way mirror is a sheet of glass that functions as a mirror on one side and a window on the other—someone in a darkened room can see through it while people in the lit room see only their reflection.
Police interrogation rooms and psychological observation booths use them.
Also called one-way mirrors, though both names describe the same thing.
