toric
Shaped like tires
Toric describes a surface or shape based on a torus—a doughnut-shaped geometric figure.
The term appears most often in optics: toric lenses correct astigmatism by having different curvatures along different axes, bending light unequally to compensate for irregularities in the eye's shape.
