tear line
Scored detachment strip
A tear line is a perforated or scored line on paper, packaging, or other material designed to guide tearing for easy separation: Detach the receipt along the tear line.
In intelligence documents, a tear line separates classified information from portions that can be shared more widely—material below the line can be "torn off" and distributed to those without full clearance.
