swing around

Rotate to face

Swing around means to turn or rotate, often quickly or with momentum.

A person might swing around to face someone behind them: She swung around when she heard her name.

It also describes changing direction or position: The car swung around the corner.

In casual use, to swing around somewhere is to stop by briefly: I'll swing around later to pick up the keys.
