steam setting
Fabric pressing option
A steam setting is a control on an iron or garment steamer that regulates how much water vapor the device releases.
Higher steam settings help remove stubborn wrinkles from heavy fabrics like linen or denim, while lower settings suit delicate materials: Use the lowest steam setting for silk.
Some irons combine steam settings with temperature controls for specific fabric types.
