squirmier
Increasingly restless, writhing
Squirmier is the comparative form of squirmy—more inclined to wriggle or twist restlessly.
A child who won't sit still is squirmy; the one fidgeting even more is squirmier.
The word also applies to things that make you uncomfortable: The second interview got squirmier when they asked about my gap year.
