special exhibitions
Limited museum displays
Special exhibitions are temporary displays at museums, galleries, or similar institutions, distinct from permanent collections.
They focus on particular themes, artists, or time periods, often featuring borrowed works or new acquisitions: The museum's special exhibition on ancient Egypt runs through March.
Special exhibitions typically require separate admission or timed tickets.
