sombrest
Bleakest in mood
Sombrest is the superlative form of somber—the most dark, gloomy, or grave.
More common in British spelling (where the base form is sombre), it describes the deepest shade of melancholy or seriousness: It was the sombrest funeral I'd ever attended.
American English tends toward "most somber" instead.
