snek

Cutesy reptile slang

Snek is internet slang for snake, originating from memes and online humor that render words in cutesy misspellings.

The term typically appears in affectionate or playful contexts, especially regarding pet snakes or snake imagery: Look at this cute snek.

Like other internet baby-talk (doggo, birb), snek suggests harmlessness rather than menace.
