Slider buns are small, soft bread rolls used for miniature hamburgers or sandwiches.
They're typically two to three inches in diameter—about half the size of standard hamburger buns.
Sliders originated as small burgers served at diners and have become popular as appetizers or party food: I picked up a pack of slider buns for the cookout.
