slick as snot
Very smooth, frictionless
Slick as snot describes something extremely slippery or smooth—ice, a wet road, a freshly waxed floor.
The comparison to nasal mucus is crude but apt: That floor was slick as snot after they mopped it.
The phrase can also describe impressive smoothness in performance or execution: He talked his way out of it, slick as snot.
