sissiness

Timid, unmanly behavior

Sissiness is the quality of being a sissy—timid, weak, or effeminate in a way traditionally considered unmanly.

The word is used disparagingly, especially toward boys or men who don't conform to masculine norms: The coach mocked what he called the boy's sissiness.

It can also describe excessive delicacy or fussiness generally.
