silver dollar pancake
Miniature breakfast cake
A silver dollar pancake is a small, round pancake about the diameter of the old silver dollar coin—roughly three inches across.
They're served in stacks of several at a time, popular with children and at diners: The kids split a plate of silver dollar pancakes.
The size makes them easy to eat without cutting.
