reclusing
Retreating from society
Reclusing is withdrawing from society or social contact, becoming a recluse.
The word functions as a present participle of the rare verb recluse: She's been reclusing herself since the breakup.
More commonly, people say "becoming a recluse" or "withdrawing," but reclusing appears in informal contexts when someone deliberately retreats from the world.
