re-mark

Score a second time

To re-mark is to mark again—a teacher might re-mark exams after a grading error, or a surveyor re-mark boundary lines that have faded.

The hyphen distinguishes it from remark (to comment), though context usually makes the meaning clear: The papers were re-marked by a different examiner.
