propitiable
Can be appeased
Propitiable describes something or someone capable of being appeased or won over through conciliatory action.
Gods, spirits, and angry people may be propitiable—their favor can be regained through offerings, apologies, or acts of goodwill: The old gods were propitiable with sacrifice; this new one demands only obedience.
The opposite, implacable, describes what cannot be appeased.
